The Patriots we all know are a super team, one seat booked after beating the Chargers. Their opponents - the Giants! Not long ago people were calling for Eli Manning's head, and now he has helped his team into the big game. His performance in the Superbowl will be interesting.
2) Dungy Sure to Announce Retirement
Tomorrow is the date set for the press conference when Tony Dungy talks about his future. Odds on he will retire and Jim Caldwell, his assistant will takeover. Caldwell unofficially took his name out of the ring for other jobs it seems, so this suggests the retirement is coming.
3) Clay Travis - What a champion
We have long admired his wit and sarcastic tools in the football world and his latest expedition is no exception. Travis is training for the NFL combine alongside NFL hopefuls in Nashville at D1 Training Institute. Travis is 28, and by his own admission, not the best athlete, so it will be an interesting ride. We all saw how RIch Eisen pulled up running the 40yd last year, so will Travis go one better in the media combine.
