1) Pete Carroll Throws Name into the hat
Atlanta could be the site of the return to the NFL for USC coach Pete Carroll. Why Atlanta, I am not sure, but I am certain that Baltimore and Washington will consider interviewing him. I don't think Miami is a likely destination for Carroll who would want more control than Bill Parcells would give.
2) Mallett to Leave Michigan
This blog has regularly suggested a Mallett transfer is imminent, and it seems I am right now, with Mallett definitely leaving. Latest word is Tennessee who are favoured to have Mallett follow Mike DeBord and Scott Loeffler to the Volunteer state. UCLA and Arkansas are still in the mix.
3) I declare...
Some of the juniors who are opting to leave college early are really strengthening the class. RB in particular is a position sure to benefit with the likes of McFadden, Kevin Smith, Felix Jones, Rashad Mendenhall and Jonathon Stewart.
