1) Blowouts
New Year's Day Bowl games were not what was expected of the big day. Rose Bowl - USC thumps Illinois. Cotton Bowl - Missouri thrashes Arkansas. Sugar Bowl - Georgie destroys Hawaii. I knew the BCS system was flawed, but this was embarassing. Now I do believe that having Bowl games 4-6 weeks since their last game means the game occurs in isolation, and it isn't necessarily a reflection of the season form, and should it therefore be compared? Probably Not.
2) Add Georgia
To my list of early 2008 Preseason #1. They field one of the youngest teams in the nation and with the defense they boast, and Knowshon Moreno and Matt Stafford in place...lookout. As we saw this year 'though, the SEC is a tough place to play.
3) Superbowl Pick
Patriots (easy) vs Packers. Cowboys have a chance, but the NFC would lose to 3 or 4 of the AFC teams.
