2) NFL Combine Non-Participants
Expect a pile of players to not workout at the combine. The likes of Matt Ryan, Darren McFadden, Glen Dorsey etc are sure to opt to save their testing for their Pro Days. I would love to be wrong, but the trend tends to be set to not participate. It is always a real shame, but there is probably more to be lost than gained in such an arena for the top guns.
3) Where are the safeties?
Only one safety is likely in the first round, but even Miami Junior Kenny Phillips may escape the first round. There is success being had with lower picks and emerging players, so again the position is much less of a priority. Teams possibly in need - Denver, Washington, Jacksonville, Carolina, Houston, San Diego and Minnesota, but is Safety their first priority?
