1) Big Time Draft Trades - Round 1
Is there going to be any big draft movers in the first round this year? How much do people want these prospects? Dallas with 2 first rounders could be in a position to moveup to get a higher pick and some have suggested they will do this possibly to go after Darren McFadden. But why would a team with Marion Barber do this? Yes Jerry Jones is an Arkansas alum but... If they stay and get one of the top backs and top WR that will be much better value. Miami are looking to trade down, the question is, who is likely to move up? Here is one possibility I created. Miami trades down with Kansas City who offer a resigned Jared Allen to the Dolphins for the guarantee of being able to grab Jake Long. Long could still be there at the Chiefs pick, but there is no other prime need there for the Chiefs at that spot. Miami gets a DE and the chance to take one of the best 5 players - possibly Glen Dorsey still at that spot.
2) Pity the Fool
Xavier Lee, the FSU QB is crazy. After two seasons of off and on time at QB, the Seminoles asked him to convert to TE. Lee declined and declared. Now who is going to draft him? Maybe only a 7th round speculatory pick for a guy who will have to convert to probably WR or KR to keep a spot.
