1) QB Future Forecast

Next year's group of prospective QB's in the draft isn't spectacular. There don't appear to be many senior QB's primed for the top pickings, and I am guessing multiple juniors will stay at school. Perhaps one with plenty to gain from a big year is Rudy Carpenter at ASU. A strong year would sit him well, particularly if the likes of Matthew Stafford and Colt McCoy stay for their senior year. Perhaps a Cullen Harper-type guy could emerge as a legit candidate, but a bigger body of work would be needed. Chase Daniel will be hoping for another big year, but his height isn't ideal. This should help the likes of Henne, Flacco and Ainge this draft.

2) QB Controversies

Are there any brewing? Who is the guy in Jet town? Is it Pennington or Clemens? Is it really open competition between Grossman and Orton in Chicago? JP Losman vs Trent Edwards in Buffalo. Will Leinart get his 100% control in Arizona or will Warner still linger.

3) Walsh To Talk

All this talk about spygate and maybe now it seems Roger Goodell will go straight to the source to find out. Matt Walsh was a reluctant (but somehow also willing) informant with the Patriots camp and the truth is being sought. Who knows what else will be revealed, the question is how much can and will be done about it.
