2 APR - 2008

1) Apologies

Sorry for yesterday's April Fools Day 3PS, couldn't resist.

2) Defensive Players to be on the air

NFL owners approved today the use of a radio'ed helmet device for 1 defensive player per team, similar to the QB communication used by offensive coordinators. The vote was 24 in favour, with, sure enough, the head coaches who have offensive backgrounds, the only ones against. Not a single defensive oriented HC opposed the ruling. Don't be surprised to see ipods in next year.

3) Kelly on his Knees

Oklahoma WR Malcolm Kelly is under heavy scrutiny at the moment in regard to his knees. They are deemed enough of a concern for some draft gurus, in hearing from Scouting Staff, to drop him out of the first. But, then again it could be a smokescreen.
