1) ROY WILLIAMS A COWBOY!
Ok so the historically inept safety, he of the horsecollar fame, is already a cowboy, but now a real contributing Roy Williams will wear the star as Jerry Jones produces the most exciting mid-season news in years. The standout WR will get to move from the mediocrity of Detroit to the heights of Dallas, receiving passes from backup QB Brad Johnson now that Romo is out for 4-6 weeks. Williams is a legit weapon, unlike the downward sloping TO, who will now have a legitimate threat to his touches. In Detroit, all they need to do now to eliminate any traces of the Matt Millen drafting era, is to eliminate Matt Millen from existence, or at least our memory.
2) Bye Bye Bowden
Not even another last ditch Bowden Bowl win to save his job was on the cards, with the son of the legendary coach resigning after a poor start for Clemson this season. With expectations high, performance has been even more underwhelming, Bowden not opting to wait to get fired. Where to now? Don't be surprised to Jags Off Coordinator Dirk Koetter return to the college ranks. Clemson would love to lure Bill Cowher out of retirement, after all, he does spend his time in the Carolinas, but his return will likely be to the pro ranks.
3) Pacman Bites it Again
Another 4 week ban. What a tool. Enough said.
