So, if McDaniels is in love with Sanchez, how can the Broncos make it happen?
1) Teams ahead with potential interest
Assuming the Lions take Stafford, there are only a handful of teams ahead of the Broncos that might be interested. Seattle are looking for their future QB, although could wait another year. I honestly believe that St Louis has to consider a QB to take over for Bulger. Some have suggested that Jacksonville is the likely drafter of Sanzhez, but I don't buy that. The 49ers are certainly a team that should take Sanchez if he is there.
2) What will it take?
Denver would have to give up both first rounders to get anywhere near the top 5. To get infront of the Jags, they will probably need their 12 pick and a second rounder. To get in front of the niners, probably only a swap and a third. The Broncos will have to hold out hope that the Bucs or Jets don't get too excited to climb up after Sanchez too.
3) The ideal setup?
Denver pulls the trigger with Jacksonville. Jacksonville get an extra pick, and can probably still take one of their preferred players - Andre Smith, BJ Raji or maybe a WR.
