Connecticut has long been a college powerhouse... in Basketball. But now, with 3 NFL draftees in the first two rounds, Connecticut Huskies are bringing their program to national attention. William Beatty, the Offensive tackle, is the third to come from the Northeast school, following on from Donald Brown (Indy) and Darius Butler (New England). Beatty goes to bring some youth to the outstanding Giants offensive line in another nice bit of drafting by the G-Men.
** Postscript...The Huskies made it four with the selection of Cody Brown by Arizona with the second last pick of the day.
