William Moore, the safety from Missouri was one of the most-underrated players entering the draft. He also played an undervalued position - safety. So it was no surprise to many that the mid-second round was his home. But the reality is, the Atlanta Falcons may have hit a home-run with a player that should compete to start immediately.
Phil Loadholt, the offensive tackle from Oklahoma, was touted entering his senior year as a top ten pick. He underperformed that during the season, albeit performing ok, and has looked a bit like a weight-risk at recent workouts. So when Minnesota grabbed him mid-second, they got the potential of a first rounder, without the huge cost. We will see how it pans out.
