2) The farce of HS recruiting

Nobody can believe anybody. Nothing is binding until that LOI is signed, so all the fuss and hullabaloo only ends in disappointment for all involved. Take the kid who is offered and verbally commits, only to hear that they have used up all their schollies and have nothing for him. Or the big time recruit who holds the recruiting world hostage waiting to make that decision. It is big business, fascinating at that, but it sure is a test of will!

3) Superbowl Prediction

The Patriots will finish as champions, I predict by 17 points. Then the Boston Globe can deliver on the already written title - New England Patriots 19-0
